Going Carbon Neutral for Earth Day

On this Earth Day we’re offsetting our emissions with a high-impact emission reduction project developed by South Pole, a non-profit focused on projects around the world that reduce carbon emissions, protect biodiversity, and bring real benefits for local communities.

We’re on a journey to steward a safe and green culture that goes beyond what’s expected. We know our aspirations are bold and we have a long road ahead, but we believe it’s critical to protecting what matters most. In honor of our commitment, this Earth Day we have purchased carbon credits to compensate for the average daily emissions we produce daily.

South Pole is a non-profit that develops and finances projects around the world that reduce carbon emissions, protect biodiversity, and bring real benefits for local communities. We’re supporting the South Pole project, The Crow Lake Wind, this is a large-scale electricity generation source set across 14,500 hectares in South Dakota, USA.

The project is estimated to save 430,000 tonnes of carbon emissions every year. We’re proud to support this high-impact project and support their mission to accelerate the transition to a climate-smart society.
